The Lost & Found is located next to the door leading out to the back playground area. Labeled items are returned to students; unclaimed items are donated to area charities, such as Cradles to Crayons.

METCO Family Friends

METCO (Metropolitan Council for Educational Opportunities) is a voluntary integration program that provides a suburban public school education for African-American, Hispanic and Asian students from Boston. The Family Friends program creates matches between Lexington and Boston families.  Each student in the METCO program is paired with a student from Lexington and once a month on Thursdays, the children have a playdate at the home of the Lexington child.  For more information, visit the Lexington METCO Program website.

Site Council

The role of the School Council is to advise the Principal, especially in creating and evaluating the School Improvement Plan. As the Council works with the Principal on matters concerning the school as a community, members of all Bowman community constituencies are invited to convey ideas and concerns to any council member. These can be brought before the School Council for discussion.
